Particulars of Agreement

Period of Let: 16th May 2026 to 30th September 2026.

The land is available in 4 lots or as a Whole, ranging in size from 24.27 acres to 146.46 acres.

All fields will be served by a water trough supplied by mains water, excluding Field 16 which is served by a natural supply.

Fields 16, 22 and 24 are laid to permanent pasture. All other fields have been re-seeded with a high-yielding Dundas clover mix in the last four years. Lime will be applied in April 2026.

Field 15 is suitable for cattle grazing only and Field 16 is suitable for sheep grazing only. All other fields are stockproof for both cattle and sheep grazing.

Grazing is preferred however the Landlord will consider tenders which specify the field(s) the Grazier wishes to mow for one cut of forage only.

Tenders to be received at the office of C & D Rural by midday on Tuesday 31st March 2026.

Rent must be paid and grazing agreements returned to the Landlord on or before 16th April 2026.

Conditions of Tender

The Landlord does not bind themselves to accept the highest or indeed any tender.

The decision of the Landlord will be final and binding.

All tenders must be submitted using the tender form.

The Tender must be completed in its entirety and submitted on the form supplied otherwise it will not be considered.

Tender forms must be returned by email to landagency@cdrural.co.uk with the subject ‘’Tender for Land at Midlands and Greenknowe’ no later than 12noon on Tuesday 31st March 2026 or should be posted to C&D Rural, Lakeside, Townfoot, Longtown, Carlisle, Cumbria, CA6 5LY in a sealed envelope marked “Tender for Land at Midlands and Greenknowe” and marked for the attention of Jacob Armett.

The agents will notify unsuccessful tenderers as soon as practically possible.
