High Knock and Maize Red Deer Farm is situated to the north of the village of Portpatrick and is accessed off an unclassified road via the B738. The farm is situated approximately 3.5 miles to the north of the village of Portpatrick and 6.2 miles to the south west of the town of Stranraer. The immediate surroundings comprise of rolling grassland with the farm benefitting from having its own right of access.
From the village of Portpatrick take the A77 heading north east, just out of the village take the B738 on the left heading north, travel along the B738 for 2.1 miles then take the right onto an unclassified road, travel along this unclassified road for approximately half a mile and the property is the first on the left.
On the farm there are approximately 50 – 60 head of red deer, comprising of 45 – 50 hinds and 5 stags. Additionally, there are approximately 30 calves on the ground and many of the hinds are in calf at this present time. The farm is ring fenced with deer fencing.
The deer can either be included or excluded from the sale depending upon purchasers preference.
A block of productive land of approximately 20 acres. The land offers good quality grazing and is classified as Grade 3.2 under the Scotland’s Soils Land Classification System. The land benefits from a mains water supply.
There is also a small paddock to the south east of the steading.

At the top of the hill there is an old steading / ruin, again no planning has been applied for but this may present itself as an opportunity to potential buyers.
