#NewNormal

I think it is fair to say that the past several months have been difficult for everyone. Many of us have been out of work and the impact the coronavirus crisis has had on us, both financially and mentally, has been severe. Businesses have had to adapt to this climate change to allow them to continue to provide food, medical services or (at the end of the day), even pay their employees.

Here at C&D Rural we have been fortunate enough to have the ability to be able to work from home through the majority of the crisis but it is without a doubt, due to the closure of the property market back in March, we have taken a hit.

But how do we move forward?

The world doesn’t seem the same anymore and I am sure all of you will agree, we must change how we interact with the rest of society in order to prevent anything like the Coronavirus Crisis of 2020 from happening again. Human interaction is a huge aspect of estate agency. As a result, agencies across the nation have been forced to adopt new methods and approaches to bring the property market to their customers.

Virtual Viewings

We are now offering virtual videos and tours for some of our available properties for sale or to let. If you would like a virtual video then we now use apps such as Whatsapp or Zoom to allow you to experience the property as if you were present yourself. During the video call we can answer any questions about the property or the location in real-time. In addition, as the market re-opens we are not preparing video content for our sales particulars and some of the more high end lettings. We have recently also purchased new accessories to allow us to produce higher quality sales videos for our clients.

Virtual Valuations

Our valuers and sales agents have been carrying out virtual property appraisals. Should you have any questions about the current market or would like a discussion with one of our agents to discuss the value of your property then please do not hesitate to contact us via the link or telephone number below.
